Anita Barone

A stage actress that is versatile and is mostly restricted to sitcoms on TV, Anita Barone received her best shot in the medium by playing wife to Jeff Foxworthy on "The Jeff Foxworthy Show," which was a one-season show on ABC in 1995-96. Barone was the first to make a stage appearance at age five in Detroit in the city where she raised following the move of her family away from St Louis. Barone was a part of more than 50 productions by the time of 23, mostly in the regional theatres and productions at universities. Some of her stage performances included Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Helen Keller in a re-imagining of "Monday after the Miracle" and also the role in the role of Agnes the teen, tortured Nun in "Agnes of the Gods." In 1987, she played a role in a film that was titled "Ricochet". In addition, she appeared in a scene in "The Rosary Murders". Then, in the year 1996, she portrayed the role of the lead actress in a romantic comedy that was independent called "Just Friends". Barone was recruited by NBC in 1990-1991 as a stockholder for "Carol and Company" which was the failed project of Carol Burnett at reviving the sketch comedy/variety program. Barone played a part in the 1995 USA Network movie, "Wounded Heart". The actress later returned to her daily sitcom routine, costarring with Michael Chiklis on "Daddio". Anita Anita Anita
